European Battery Alliance
In cooperation with EIT InnoEnergy, the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) began negotiations concerning the entire sector. One of the major achievements of the cooperation is the elaboration of the National Battery Strategy. The new document provides opportunities for Hungarian businesses, creates jobs and stimulates the innovation initiatives of the region.
The Hungarian Battery Alliance was established, with QTICS Group as one of the founders. The major goal of the organisation is to facilitate the development and European integration of the Hungarian battery industry as well as cooperate in the implementation of the Hungarian Battery Industry Strategy in the interest of its members. Based on the intention of its founders, the professional alliance is to facilitate the participation of the Hungarian battery industry players in major Hungarian and international projects as well as in the international organisations of the sector, including the European Battery Alliance and Eit InnoEnergy. The Hungarian Battery Alliance wishes to undertake an active role in the legislative and regulatory processes relevant for the industry.
In addition, the organisation intends to create a platform for expert dialogue on the battery industry by elaborating professional materials, organising panel discussions and networking events.
